Privacy Policy

Overview

AI Curator is open source software that runs on your machine. The ai-curator.cloud website provides registration for access to the Extended EdukaAI Starter Pack (400 samples) and future themed packs. The 75-sample Starter Pack is available for free download at ai-curator.cloud/starter-pack without an account. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

What we collect

When you create an account on ai-curator.cloud, we collect:

• •Email address — used for account identification and pack access
• •Name (optional) — used for display on your profile
• •Password — stored as a bcrypt hash. We never see your plaintext password.

We do not collect usage analytics, telemetry, or tracking data from the AI Curator desktop application. The open source app runs entirely on your machine and makes no network requests except ones you initiate (such as the Live Capture API or HuggingFace downloads).

What we use it for

Your account exists for one purpose: access to the EdukaAI Extended Starter Pack and monthly themed packs. We use your email to identify your account and deliver the packs you've requested. That's it.

Data about Starter Packs

When you download the Starter Pack from ai-curator.cloud or access an Extended Pack through your account, we record which pack you accessed and when. This helps us understand which packs are popular and plan future packs. We do not track what you do with the data after download.

Local data

AI Curator stores all your datasets, samples, and settings locally at ~/.curator/. This data never leaves your machine unless you explicitly export it or use the Live Capture API to send it somewhere. We have no access to your local data.

Cookies

ai-curator.cloud uses a session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your account data. Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes. All connections to ai-curator.cloud are encrypted with TLS. However, AI Curator is in early beta and we are still fine-tuning our security practices. If you discover a security issue, please report it responsibly via our Security page.

Your rights

Changes

We may update this policy as ai-curator.cloud evolves. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Last update: April 2026.
